In the Macmillan School Atlas Challenge 2006 held on 28 January CDS got 2nd position among 50 schools--- winners Vivek Kumar And Krishna Poddar of Standard IX

Yamini Temurnikar was selected in the first round for Lawani dance.

Inter School Dance Competition by Nritya Sadhana  
Prachi Dharmik of Standard III won the first prize.

Disha D Ratnaparkhi stood third in State and Ankeet Aswain stood first in District

Quiz on life and work of Albert Einstein to celebrate the year of Physics at Raman Science Centre------- Krishna Poddar bagged the prize.

Ankur Jalan topped the Nagpur division in the 2003 examinations.
Devika Tandon stood second from Nagpur division in the 2003 examinations.
Lakshmi Srikanth bagged the first place - Nagpur division 2004.
Kastubh Nagrare was second - Nagpur division 2004.
Anjana Haridas was third - Nagpur division 2004.
Divya Venkatesh stood second from Nagpur division 2005.

Ram Agarwal was third at the state level in the Holy Faith International Talent Search Scholarship Examination in 2004.  

National Paint Competition  
Kruti Bagade won the first prize in the National Paint Competition organised by Tanishq and CRY in 2004.  

Drawing Competition  
Aditiya Mahesh and Aachal Tripati won prizes in Jaycees Drawing Competition in 2004.
Shruti Nagdeve got the first prize and Karan Singh Bais got the second prize in the Drawing Competition organised by Friends International in 2005.  

Quiz Competition  
Harsh Temurnikar bagged the third prize in the written Inter School Quiz Competition conducted by Raman Science Centre in 2004.  

Open Quiz Competition  
Abhijeeth Mujumdar and Mitali Vyas were awarded books on science in the Open Quiz Competition at Raman Science Centre in 2004.
Akash Anatpurkar and Shakshi Deshkar received prizes in the Open Quiz Competition organised by Raman Science Centre in 2005.  

Boxing Competition  
Hemanth Upadhay won the Boxing Subjunior Competition held at Pune in 2005.  

IT Wizard Search  
Somnath Sharma stood first in the Western Zone Junior IT Wizard Search organised by NIIT in 2005.  

Elocution Competition  
Anupamnupama Haridas got the second prize in the Inter School Elocution Competition on Road Safety in 2005 at Raman Science Centre.  

Story Telling Competition  
Siddhi Ranade won the second prize in the Inter School Marathi Story Telling Competition organised by Hadas High School in 2005.  

One Act Play Competition  
The CDS Theatre Group won the second prize in the Inter School One Act Play Competition organised by St.Xaviers Group of Schools in 2005.  

Martial Arts  
Ajinkya Tirthgirikar won the gold medal in the recently concluded 19th National Tae-Kwon-Do Martial Art Meet at Bangalore in 2005 and he also claimed the gold in the State Level Meet held at Kolhapur in 2005.  

Sit and Draw Competition At Raman Science Centre  
Tanushree Kumbhalkar bagged the second prize for the Sit and Draw Competition in 2005.  

Essay Writing Competition  
Disha Chandak was awarded the third prize for Inter School Essay Writing Competition in 2005.  

Software Development Competition  
Harsh Tembrunikar bagged the first prize in the Inter School Software Development Competition in 2005 at Raman Science Centre.  

Field Events  
Lopa Mudra Raut bagged the second prize in the 100m race at the Interact Inter School Sports Meet in 2005.  

Fancy Dress Competition  
Aishwarya Deshmukh, Avanti Joshi, Pooja Chabriya, Poornima Dhoke, Ankita Nagnath,
Himanshu Parcham, Aovi Deshpande, Himani Himani Padole, Roshan Ghosh were the winners for Fancy Dress Competition sponsored by Junior Horlicks in 2005.  

Inter House Competition  
A number of prizes for various events such as Handwriting, Singing, Dance, One Act Play, Drama,
Elocution, Debate, Quiz, Story Telling, Collage Making, Flower Decoration, Salad Making, Clay
Modelling, Poem Recitation, Action Songs, Patriotic Songs, Patriotic Speeches, Skating, Inter House Sports and Games such as Football, Cricket, Basketball, Volleyball, Badminton,
Table Tennis, Lawn Tennis and many more prizes have been won by various students in 2005.  

Prof. Maths Scholarship by National Education
CDS student Kaustubh Nagrare (IX) won the Prof Maths scholarship in the year 2003.

Highest Percentage in Xth ICSE Nagpur 
Student Ankur Jalan secured the highest percentage in Nagpur in ICSE 10th Standard. He was a student in CDS' first Xth batch (2003 passout). Devika Tandon (X) stood second in this examination.

Singing Competition by Rotary Club of Nagpur North  
CDS IIIrd Standard Students won a prize in a singing competition organized by the Rotary Club of Nagpur North.
